Get ready for a day full of excitement and outdoor fun at the Woodchopping Carnival! Join us on March 8, 2025, from 10 AM for an action-packed celebration of skill, strength, and community.

12-Event Program: Experience a thrilling 12-event program showcasing incredible woodchopping talent. Highlighting the day will be the Tasmanian State Championship, where the best competitors will face off for the title!

The Woodchopping Carnival is the perfect way to spend the day outdoors, watching exciting woodchopping competitions, enjoying great food, and soaking in the lively music. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, there's something for everyone.
River Run Lodge Cray Bake 2025
After an incredible turn out to the premier of the River Run Lodge Annual Cray Bake we are back!! We cannot wait to deliver you an even bigger party to honour our maritime town & celebrate the lobster season!

There will again be something for everyone! Freshly caught lobster, cooked to perfection by local fisherman and of course our signature lobster rolls.
​
On site, we’ll have food trucks, an outdoor bar with local wines, beer & cocktails. While you’re enjoying the live bands, the kids can find games with our incredible kids entertainer and face painting

We have incredible door prizes & raffle tickets for more prizes, you won’t want to miss this year’s food and wine festival!
